The CRB500's tubes are constructed from high end military grade carbon look black Hypalon made by Orca in France, usually reserved for government, military and paramilitary usage only and boast 5 independent air chambers rendering this craft virtually unsinkable. The hull was designed by Bakewell- White in New Zealand and displays exceptional fuel economy and offshore capabilities even in the roughest conditions. One of the many reasons why the very same RIBs were used by the New Zealand Police during the 2000/2003 Americas Cup Regatta in Auckland.
